The Bohique was a shaman of the Taino pre-columbian native people of Puerto Rico. seen as one of the highest ranked leaders of the community, it was tradition for the bohique to fast for weeks in order to become in tune with the spirits with only herbs and spices to sustain them through this process.
Some of these spices and botanicals flow through this rum today. We source our materials from 9 countries in Latin America to provide a new rendition of a Botanical Spiced Rum.

Bohique has a spice and honey tea backbone that ties traditional warm spices like cloves, anis, cinnamon, and vanilla with botanicals like chamomile, orange peel, and elderberry. A unique spice balance in a 43% ABV Spiced Rum

Bohique Botanical Rum. SUMMER 2024
This 40% ABV white rum is fragrant and herbal forward. It is a split base rum part white rum from the same base that is aged for the Bohique spiced rum, blended with vaccum distilled botanicals to include Red hibiscus flower, pink, pepercorn, corriander, lemon peel, and other tropical notes.
Elegant, inspiered, and unique, this rum highlights a diferent aspect of the Bohique experience through technique and attention to detail. To be enjoyed with light tropical fruits, or on the rock with a twist.
